Applications Security · Web, mobile & code

Close the app flaws attackers look for first.

Your applications hold customer data and move money. We test web and mobile apps as an attacker would, review the code behind them and help your developers fix what we find.

Our services

Three services. From source code to app store.

Test what is live, test what is mobile and review the code behind both, as one engagement or one service at a time.

Web Application VAPT

Automated and manual testing of your web applications, from reconnaissance to exploitation, with clear remediation advice.

Mobile App Penetration Testing

Real-world attacks against your mobile apps, followed by remediation support and a verification retest of the fixes.

Software Source Code Review

Your code examined for bugs, vulnerabilities and breaches of secure coding standards before it reaches production.

Why it matters

Apps are the front door. Lock it properly.

Protect customer trust

One exploitable flaw in a login page or payment flow can expose customer records and damage your reputation.

Fix flaws while they are cheap

Source code review catches insecure patterns while the code is still in development.

Proof your developers can use

Each finding comes with evidence, clear remediation steps and a knowledge transfer session, so the same mistake is less likely to recur.

FAQ

Application security, asked and answered.

What development leads and CISOs ask before an application test begins.

Do you test in production or in a test environment?

Either. For intrusive tests we recommend a staging environment that mirrors production. When production testing is unavoidable, we agree rules of engagement and test windows with you first.

Do you need our source code for a penetration test?

No. Web and mobile tests can run without code access, as an outside attacker would. Source code review is a separate service for finding flaws at their root, and the two work well together.

What do our developers receive?

An executive summary, a detailed report, evidence for each vulnerability, prioritised recommendations and a knowledge transfer session where our testers walk your team through the fixes.

How does this support PCI-DSS and similar rules?

Payment card and regional frameworks expect applications that handle sensitive data to be tested. Our reports give auditors evidence of the testing, the findings and the fixes, with gaps trackable in ExceedGRC.

Can you train our developers as well?

Yes. Our academy runs secure coding courses such as CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder and hands-on web application testing workshops, and in 2024 we delivered a five-day application security workshop for Housing Bank.

Test your applications

List the apps that matter. We'll plan the test around them.

List the applications, platforms and release dates involved, and we will draft a scope and test plan that fits around your release calendar.

You receive a scope, test plan and timing

Received. An application security consultant will be in touch about your apps.
